With the weather cooperating today, decided to hit up Long Lake once the sun warmed the water a bit. Water temps between 52.5 to 54.0. Wasn't getting any bites on a jerkbait or a jig, so I decided to throw a spinnerbait to cover more water. Caught five fish with around 12 inches and a couple nicer fish in the 2 1/2 to 3 pound range. All fish were up against retaining walls in less than 2 feet of water on the sunnyside of the lake. The fish would hit just as soon as the blade started to turn, real aggressive. All caught on the main hook. Single silver Colorado blade, white skirt with white double-tail trailer.
