It was definitely a much better day today as far as weather goes, yesterday was nasty! Wind blowing at least up 25-30 mph but much better today. Got down to the lake around 12:45pm, fishing with my brother and cousin it was a little slow at first and had to basically find where the fish were, I'd say around 10 minutes but once we went through the schools triples right of bat! In about 45 minutes of fishing we already had 2 limits and lost right around 10 or so. We were using Elgin Fishing God's Tooth Spoons in the frog, perch and brown trout were the best producers. I'll tell you what, nothing compares to these spoons! I also was running the new Brads Kokanee Cut Plug 2.25 out the back and only picked up 1 fish, The God's Tooth spoons were the top dogs for sure! It seems like every time I fish this lake, the darker color patterns seem to do the trick. Also running the lures 20 feet behind the boat. Fished for about 2 hours and we managed to hook 33 and lost right around 14. Tight lines everybody and hope to see you on the water!
