My son and I decided to give Lost Lake a try since it was recently stocked with 415 4 lbers. This is the first time on this lake - ample parking and a decent launch. Water is really nice and clear kinda a greenish clear color. Really deep with some areas around 40-50 ft deep.
Anyway we caught 3 alright bows between 1.5 lbs and 2.5 lbs and a nice cutthroat around 3 lbs. Water temp was around 49 to 50 degrees almost at the magical 52 degree mark. A few other boats but it didn't look like anyone was killing them.
The reason I gave this day a rating of three is because of the lack of the 415 4 lbers. We trolled all over the lake - deep and shallow - and really didn't mark any real big fish. I've fish other lakes that have been stocked with lesser amount of big fish and easily marked them. Kinda makes me wonder if the amount was really 415. But either way a lake to remember.
On a side note bigger boats please be aware of the smaller boats. We were trolling next to a smaller boat -10ft- when a ski boat went flying by (jerk) didn't bother my boat but looked over at the couple in the smaller boat and they were watching the waves rock their boat. Be aware of your surroundings and be safe.

I've found that the big triploids often hang out close to where they were dumped in, being the boat launch, near shore for a week or two and then disperse as they acclimate
