Wow, I have never had a worst day on this lake than today. One Cutthroat that was about 14" and that was IT. Tried EVERY combo that my fishing partner, Paul, and I could gather the courage to put our cold fingers to the rain to do. On the off color note. I did catch my personal best Goggles. Going to be hard to beat this one in both Style and form, but I will push on to find better and flashier garbage!

Would have been a better pic if you put them on! :)

My buddy and I have caught some "keeper" sticks that warranted photos, but your catch wins the prize!
I fish most of the kokanee opportunities within 3 hrs of Seattle. The kokanee in reservoirs are biting right now. We had limits at Merwin 2 weeks ago, however all the rain has caused most of the reservoirs to get too cloudy/muddy in the last few weeks. Cavanaugh, Samish, American, Stevens... most of the kokanee lakes around here need to warm up still. I'd guess with the temps not reaching 60 degrees yet and staying low at night, it'll still be a month or two before they start to go.

Hopefully you did not practice catch release with those googles....they look like keepers.

Catching a pair of goggles....doesn't that indicate you might have been trolling just a tad bit too deep?
