Took my four year old granddaughter to Lake Goodwin for some fishing and just playing around in the boat. Got there late (small children do not understand the need to fish early) and fished the "hedges" boating 6 fish in a short time along with many missed bites and two fish wrapping in the anchor rope. Just dangled a single egg off the bottom in 30 foot of water-the bite is light so hold your rod. Seems to be lots of fish in the 11-12 inch range. Good luck!
