Another very good day on the ice, we got on about 9:00 am, and I brought my daughter and two of her longtime friends. It rained on us constantly :( but they made the most of it until everyone was soaked through and cold (about three hours)

we all caught fish most of the morning, but my buddy Markopath took home a whole mess of slabs, I mean he really hit the motherload of monsters today. He and I could have fished all day, but I had a bunch of cold wet teens that had had enough. They all said they had fun and want to go again... but maybe not in the freezing rain next time.

The Ice was still really good and thick, it's still really solid on the surface from the cold temps a few nights ago, but getting a lot of standing water on top from all the rain, need to drill some more holes and let that stuff drain into the lake.

As we packed out today we both came to the conclusion this might be the last trip for the season. We'll just have to see what the weather brings this next week.
