When my brother and father and I got to the lake and started fishing around 4PM it was overcast and about 65-70 degrees. We trolled up and down the west side of the lake and were pleasantly surprised by the action. Within an hour and a half I had pulled in 4 rainbows and a perch, all rainbows being pan sized. Both my brother and father also caught 5 amongst the two of them. I followed up with another perch and another rainbow over the next two hours. It was a very fun outing, and since we were trolling deep we found the deep spot on the west side of the lake. The seemed to be hitting lively colored rooster tails best.
