Was back at Boren today after a short day of work. Pretty darn cold today no doubt about it. Caught one fish today which was a very nice 13" Cutt which was the largest taken from this lake so far for me since I started fishing there two months ago.

Caught this one reeling in for a bait check. Strong hit so I waited a few seconds and started to reel again and wham I nailed this one. Since it took on the take I has able to hook it in the roof of the mouth and release it. This was the first fish that I nailed on the reel in. About 33% of the hits that I get at this lake are in the reel in but I have missed all of them till today.

For some reason my pics from Sunday did not show up so I posted the today. Really interested in feedback on what I found in the stomach of one of the Cutts from yesterday.

Not uncommon at all. Anywhere rubber worms are fished they get consumed.

drove past the lake while passing thru Renton and saw it was frozen over so i had to stop. turns out it frozen nearly 3 inches around the dock at the park... were you fishing thru the ice? nice fish!

No wafisherman20,

The ice was just forming on the South End of the lake the last day I was there, which was Monday afternoon. I had to deal with some floating chunks just a small amount of time as it drifted into my area in which I was casting into.

Ice fishing any Western Lake would be really cool, but I have no experience when it comes to dealing with the thickness of the ice let alone fishing thru it.
