11/26/2016 6:17:00 PMI've caught about 6 of them that have been over 15lbs and almost all of them had tails like that. I've noticed the smaller ones have normal looking tails. Even though they're sterile, I don't know if they still "try" to spawn or not. If they do, I could see why they have tails like. They never have blood on their tails though.

11/27/2016 10:21:00 PMRainbow trout swimbait. Approx. 12' of water. Half way across the lake straight out from the public access. I wasn't even trying for Tigers. In fact, every Tiger I've ever caught, I was bass fishing. It's quite a surprise at first when you think you might have the bass of a lifetime on! I've landed about 20 Tigers over the years with about half of them over 10lbs!
