Fished Beaver lake this afternoon for a few hours. Bite was slow but both my husband and I were able to catch our limit of 2 jumbo rainbows each. My husband caught one that was very usual in color. It was golden instead of silver but had all the normal markings of a rainbow. Rainbows planted were raised at the Issaquah fish hatchery. Has anyone else caught any this color?

I've seen a few of these golden trout at the Issaquah hatchery before they planted them in Beaver. The hatchery folks said they are an albino rainbow trout that normal wouldn't have grown to this size in the wild because it would have been eaten by a predator.
