Very windy up here this afternoon. I thought with the front moving in things may pick up but I only managed to miss one about 4lbs that boiled on my swim jig 10 feet from the boat, lose another decent one on a swim jig in the pads and catch a 1.4lb on the swim jig and 1.8lber on a Senko. Oh well, with limited time this evening I made the rounds enough to satisfy my curiosity. I did pick up a Senko with a screw in it off the top of a piling near the boat launch, no wonder why the owner lost it as I think a 12 incher in those pilings would have snapped the line that was still attached to it :O odd place to leave it though, if you're out that far to snag it all you would have to do is cut through the pilings and grab it? I usually find stuff like that closer to shore from the bank fishermen that can't retrieve it but this was too far out so it had to be someone floating...not my favorite color but I will reuse the o-ring and hook so thanks! ;)

That is one thing about this lake, there are so many things to snag on that every year I find a few abandoned baits and remove a couple hundred yards of line left behind by people who were obviously in boats?? I'll never get it....go clean up your crap! Never looks good when birds are tangled in fishing line, and I have found dead ones before up here still tethered to the piling via derelict gear, not cool.

Water temps are in the low 60's and no sign of algae!

Would like to throw a thank you out to the young man that was bank fishing when I parked! I appreciate your polite attitude! If I didn't have my dogs with me I would have offered you the back seat, maybe next time?
