This is my 3rd time on this lake this summer without catching a single fish! Got there at about 7:45AM, setup my Colorado XT pontoon, and was on the water around 8:30AM fishing for Kokanee. I left the lake at around 2PM with no fish whatsoever!

Until about 11AM, I trolled two poles, both had flashers, one with a small dodger. I tried several depths between 5ft and 30ft. Tried a green & red wedding ring with corn, pink hoochie with corn, Kokanee Killer with corn, Slow Death hook with a worm, and a Kokanee thing I don't know the name of with corn. Colors were pink, red & green. I tried dipping my presentations in either corn or garlic scents. I think I covered most of the lake.

From about 11 to 2 I stopped trolling & started drifting slowly with my Perch setup. Again, nothing!

I didn't see schools on my My Deeper Pro+ fish finder, only single fish here & there.

I was fishing for Rainbows the the two earlier times I've been to this lake, and also caught nothing. I kinda had a feeling I wasn't gonna catch anything this time too but I went there anyway hoping for a miracle maybe?! I don't know if I'm going to that lake again.

its an early bite on kokes and rainbows just as it gets light you have an hr to get bit otherwise the bite ends quickly .ive done well but its slowing way down mostly bucks are hitting .i use the myasis bug from kokanee kid its been great .25ft and 35 ft down i use dbl ds dodgers 30-80 pulls back optimal speed 1.3mph. good luck hope this helps

used to be able to get them all times of day. this is a weird year. larger fish, but hard to put in boat. i had two takedowns yesterday, is all. a couple were out, and in an hour or so, limited on trout, fishing on the bottom, so end of lake, 30' deep. nice trout. this time, last year, me and a buddie, we limited most days, in the day time. perhaps tomorrow, i will get ur early, and try it.
