My son Brandon and I got out on Cda on Saturday. He started the day with a nice 35" 11 1/2 pounder within the first 5 minutes of the day. That can sometimes be a curse and it was for him on this trip. He only got two small bass the rest of the day. I managed to get two 7 pounders and two 8 pounders throughout the day. White spinner baits worked best and the fish were a little shallower in about 4-5 feet of water. Water temp was pretty much 60 all day long. A few degrees lower and it should be prime time for the bigger fish. Brandon thought he would monkey around a little and held up a coupls of the fish I caught for a photo.
