This lake has never disappointed me with all of its action. My partner and I worked this lake from 9:30am until 5:00pm. Water temperature was at 42 degrees and we endured snow, hail, rain and wind. We hooked and released 4 spawned out cutts beautiful colors but with big heads and skinny bodies right off the get go. The weather finally let up around 12:30 pm and we worked the center of the lake east of the island and hooked and released another 26 cutts all in good shape and very fiesty, great fighters. At 4pm we decided to catch some for dinner and landed another 6 all ranging in sizes from 12-14 inches trolling a sinking fly line and a brown wolley bugger with gold tinsel. I don't think this lake gets enough credit for all of the action it produces I definitely plan on a few more trips this year.
