First time out on Morton. Hit the water at just past 6 am, while the fog was lifting from the surface. Fished along the docks and weed lines. Caught 2 LMB just over 1lb (1.21 and 1.1). Both fish were shallow by the weeds and caught on Strike King green pumpkin tubes. Both bites were incredibly subtle. Second fish, I didn't even know I had the fish until I reeled the slack in. Had a few top water strikes before the sun came up too high, but couldn't get a hook set. I'll be coming back here as it is close to my house. I'm thinking it will be better on an overcast day.
