We hit the water about 8 a.m. Right away I noticed the sign about them having recent treated the water for the invasive species plants found there( Aug 2nd). It seemed like people were mostly catching perch. We tried all kinds of things, Joe's flies(trolling), worm and bobber. worms. power bait and various other lures. Not a single trout. the weather was not great. cold and windy. We caught lots of perch and one bullhead. so not an unsuccessful day but not successful as trout go. Probably best to hit up in the fall again. I am going back to my favorite lake Langlois.
