Hit the water at 7:30am tough fishing trolled for a few hours fishing 8-15 feet deep then the depth finder found a lot of fish at 20-30 feet so i switched to the down rigger and being new to this type of fishing it took a bit but got 1 bite still no fish stopped and went closer to shore and ended up bobber fishing and got two bass so at least i didn't get skunked. i will try another lake tomorrow.

Keep trying the fish are there. Red, pink and green wedding rings have work the best for me chasing RB. Tipped with a piece of worm. Some of those marks at the deeper depths could be kokanee or perch. Keep you speed around 2 mph for trout or faster. for the kokes 1.5 is a good starting point. Good luck and thanks for the report.

also gotta put the offering back 100 feet or more if your running a gas motor
