Today was windy and I got a lot of use out of the anchor system my kayak came with, first time really using it. It was really nice to be able to sit in a spot and fish it without being blown right on top of where I just cast.

Anyway, the fishing wasn't great, I landed three dinks on 3 different color Senkos. But I did also finally get a top water bass for the year and a decent 2.3lber at that, so that saved the day. Caught on a LiveTarget rat. I was pretty impressed by the hooks on that thing. They completely detached and rotated away from the body of the rat, it was hooked really well. I also tried a chatterbait on the deep weed edges and points, nothing on it though.
