Headed out to Summit Lake Wednesday and had poles in the water by 7 am. Kokanee bites were spotty but came away with 5 after about 3.5 hrs. Took a friend and she kept hooking rainbows that were in the 10 in range. So 5 catch and release rainbows and 5 Kokes to make our legal limit. No trout kept or harmed and a few smaller rainbows were just riddled with lice. Kokanee looked less parasite infested this time.
My 60 - 40 combo keeps working here. 60 ft back of the ball, 40 ft down. Chartreuse and purple wedding rings tipped with corn soaked in both bloody tuna and anise/krill. Tuna seemed the more popular scent but hard to really get a good pattern. Kokes seemed more scattered about this trip.
