I took my two sons in the canoe. We went to the left of the boat launch. We used red worms without any weight. I caught a decent bluegill. Then my youngest caught a 13" rainbow. The wind pushed us into the middle. It looked like a carpet of growth 2 to 3' under the surface. My son hooked another one, but I snapped the line trying to pull it out of the weeded carpet. We went into the little corner, north side, I put a bobber on his line. I just cast his line out and the bobber danced. He pulled in another rainbow, just under 13". I threw my worm same spot and caught a skinny rainbow. The weather had a couple of drops. We had a good time. Three rainbow trout and one bluegill. I am sure the fish that I broke the line, was a rainbow as well. The trout were full on snails when I cleaned them.
