Was told by some local Wenatchee friends that Beehive was a good place to fish close to town. Read some of the old reports on here and they talked about a rutted bad road and tons of trash. The road was actually very good and my Motorhome did fine on it. As far as the trash, it was as clean as any other places I've been. But now to fishing, I arrived and the fish were everywhere, rising, jumping and swimming in the shallows. I hit the water in my IK and trolled everything I owned but not even a strike until I straight lined a Woolley bugger with an action disc way behind the boat with no weight added. Finally got a couple with the first being about 11 inches and the other about 8, I let the latter go. That was after about 3 hours of trolling so I headed home after that.
