First time out for me this year. Went to Shadow lake with son in law and granddaughter (5yrs old).it was off and on raining all day but seem to clear up so we decided to go fishing. A little slow at first with some more rain, we were trolling with small spinners and I had a black woollybugger on.. caught a 10in trout then nothing for about half hour so we decided to still fish with powerboat. I had another in minutes, then granddaughter caught first fish on new pole, about 11-12 in one, it fought her pretty good,but she pulled it to net. Son in law also caught another one and then started to get late so we tied black woollybugger back on to troll back to boat launch.both had two within 15 min with a double. Even let granddaughter net my last fish. Fun time by all and had fish dinner tonight. Sorry no pics, next time.
