Nice to be able to fish Lake Washington again.

Lots of perch. Couldn't keep them off the hook, pulled out doubles many times with 3 more perch following. Most were very small tho, maybe 3 - 4". Catch and release. Only kept 3 that were over 8".

Quite a few of them looked stunted? Long (7"+), but skinny, some of the little 3-inchers were bigger girth-wise.

Used worm and cut perch.

You maybe just located a bunch of yearling fish. Perch can become stunted by overpopulation & eating themselves out of house and home but that doesn't seem likely on Lake Washington. When you find small ones like that you can either just enjoy catch & release or fish in different water.

theDrifter - Catch and release was fun. A couple days later, I started to get some bigger perch. Also saw a carp swimming around.

jockol - I think this time of yr there should be perch just about everywhere in Lake Washington. Sorry can't give out my spot.

RL44 - Not sure. Probably good for a yr, until the negotiations begins again with the natives. Keep an eye on the WDFW site.
