We spent Sunday morning and into the afternoon exploring/fishing Mission Lake. The trout were there on our sounder, but not biting much on the lures we had left after losing some of our most productive ones on Wildcat yesterday. We did get a few bites from some smaller bass and the hubby brought a 10 incher to the boat. By midafternoon the trout were beginning to bite. As we were trolling back to the launch we caught 2 decent planters at 12" and lost one at the boat. Too bad we had to leave just as the bite picked up. Tight lines!
