Went to Lake Chelan to do some camping and brought along the trout poles for kicks. The water level was very low. The water crystal clear and very cold. I saw a couple a large trout jumping about, but too far out for my tiny trout pole to cast to. There were a zillion suckerfish, (squawfish?) But they wouldn't bite anything I threw at them; lures, flys, worms, powerbait. So I gave up. Didn't catch a thing, but still had a good time camping. Next time I'll use a guide or bring my own boat.
