First trip to Banks this year. Launched at Coulee City with the usual suspects at 7:15. There were several boats working just outside the launch area but we headed further north and worked some humps and flats with bottom bouncers and slow death rigs. We found weeds in water less than 16 FOW requiring frequent checking of gear. We found scattered fish in 18-20 FOW. We then tried the flats north of million dollar mile and found more fish also in 20 FOW. Water temp 64. Green and orange colors worked equally well for us. Boat control became more difficult as the winds picked up. We ended up with 12 keepers and at least as many smaller fish that we released. Another great day on the water.
