Small sample size for this report as my batteries finally gave up the ghost about 90 minutes in, however, in that 90 minutes I boated 8 bass the biggest going about 3lbs or a little over? Didn't weigh it as it was bleeding just a bit. All fish caught on a 4" Senko on the edge of the pads. I spent the last 30 minutes literally limping along as my motor was on 10 and pulling like it was on 1. I may run back up here tomorrow as the water was clear and fish seemed active enough? Most of the fish were smaller but they tend to help keep you focused and help kill the time in between good ones!

Water temps were in the mid 70's with maybe a tinge of color in a couple places but again, I only saw part of the lake tonight.

Still a good fish even if the time was cut short.

4 inch green/red Yamamoto Senko rigged wacky style, no weight this time. Fished on 12lb mono for a slower sink rate. As we get farther past the post spawn I will go up in size but right now the fish are pretty programmed to eat smaller things.

So Clear Lake has fish going again? After all of that invasive species treatment, I couldn't catch anything worth a darn. I finally gave it up and haven't been back yet this year. I'm looking for a lake or two for this weekend, maybe I'll give it another shot.

Was starting to cloud up just a tad on my last visit, not sure what the warmer weather will do from an algae bloom standpoint??
