got on the lake real early around 5 am ran out to my favorite place drop line down to 40 ft. 10 min later fish on the bite was steady I quit at 8 am had other stuff to do I ended up with 8 fish 1 real nice about 16 inches cant wait till Monday to go again. I put tuna scent on the maggots.

Nice job. I was there for 4 hrs and only 3 fish to show for it. Don't know the lake much, been there couple times but have not have good action. Always takes me a while to catch one. I get there early too. You use maggots? The pink ones? I have some but have not tried with them. I'll give them a try. Thanks for the report.

My bad. I thought it said you started at 7 and only fished an hour :)
