Read a report on the site for Silver Lake.
Thought I would give it a try.
Got to the lake around 0800. Went out on one of the short docks. Cast some red Gulp eggs out on a 5' leader and green Gulp eggs on the other rod with a 3' leader.
Red egg rod went down about 5 minutes later, nice 12" bow.
Changed the other rod to red with a 5' leader. Threw it out and it was hammered a few minutes later. Nice little 10" bow.
Had a blast. Will be back early in the morning next time and fish a bobber with a worm on one of the rods.
Thanks for the report. I didn't know this fishery existed so close to home.
