So after reading Hewesbob report on Moses lake, chose to give it a go today since the troops weren't arriving until around 3 pm so got to Connelly park around 7 am to chase some more big eyes! Started out of the ramp into about 15 feet of water and set out my 2 rods with 1 1/2 bottom walkers and some had tied rigs with slow death hooks threaded with live worms.

Before I got 10 minutes into my troll got my first take down and had a fish almost to the boat but came unbuttoned- darn! Worked my way between 12 feet and 7 feet down the yellow house and back and in 4 hours had 3 nice walleye in the boat and lost more then that so not sure if that's normal or not but happy with the results in just a few hours!

Boy these boys are bigger then the ones I was tagging on Banks and they measured 18, 20 and 21" respectively and all stomachs stuffed with crayfish; which was the scent I was using and just so happened to match the colors of the rigs I had tied up so got lucky!

Now it's time to race back to Sun Lakes to get the cabins ready for the arrival of my men's group and try and scratch something out of Park lake this weekend!

See you on the water!

Nice size fish. I've been itching to get some walleye but I have to wait until I'm done with halibut season after Memorial Day

Barry, I'm glad to see you got in on the fun. We should be back out there a couple times this week.
