Warm windy morning on the lake, have not had much luck with wooley buggers this year, but then I have not been messing around with depth to much either. I have been rigged behind lead line with 2 - 3 colors out. Next week I'll bring the fly pole and get serious with either sinking tip or full float. But all was not a wash today, spring green power bait slow trolled behind the boat................landed 5 hooked into 8. Good morning of fishing I would say...............almost forgot to mention, started the timer on my fish finder after the first hook up, 1 hr. 28 min's later stringer was full and heading for the launch.
Talked with a few guys at the launch, sounds like what ever the method guys are landing fish.

caught and released 27 in an hour and a half today in the wind . Full sink line, cast, count it down and slow erratic retrieve. Caught quite a few rowing trying to get the boat back in position and being blown in the wind like a rather fast troll speed. If I got the fly down there I caught fish.
