Well I went over to spectacle for the early April trip to find some nice weather and hopefully catch a couple of nice rainbows. The fishing was slow compared to the normal over there. The most consistent lure was lead core line with a black wooly bugger. I also caught quite a few fish on different thin bladed spoons trolled with a slip sinker. I never still fish it is to boring for me, but the folks that always do, did okay down at the far west end of the lake by the rock bluffs. The fish were two sizes from 13"-15" or 6"-9" and that was very consistent. The lake is about three feet low and that might have slowed down the bite. The weather was great lots of sun and the usual afternoon breeze. One night though the wind did pick up at it rattled the r.v. a bit. All in all it was another great trip to spectacle.
