Took my wife to Lake Tapps and had a pretty good morning. We caught 12 total. I caught a 5 1/2 lb Largemouth and a 3.75 lb Smallmouth. The Largemouth was already spawned out but the big Smallie was loaded with eggs. All were caught on a Senko in shallow water around docks. Water temp was 69 degrees F. Tried other baits to no avail. Senko's were rigged Wacky style with a Flick-it Jig Hook. Use as small a weight as possible to get a slower fall. Any color is good as long as it is Green Pumpkin. LOL. Left lake at noon due to boat traffic and the hideous Jet-skis. Some of these jet ski operators need to be arrested. I wonder if they have the boating safety card as required. Maybe Sheriff Officers should check this out.

Glad to hear Tapps has recovered so well from the draw down.
