The pike fishing is picking up for me in Cda and chain lakes. Fish seem to be more active and hitting a variety of lures. Saturday they mostly wanted the soft plastic frogs, but have also been hitting spoons and spinner baits, in 3-8 feet of water. Water temps in the main lake were 56-57 but we had 67 in the chains. Watch for floating debris in the river, there's plenty of it to dodge around right now. I believe the chain lakes fish are done spawning and are feeding up to get back into summer shape. No big ones this trip, just nice healthy hard fighting fish. The crappie bite seemed to be in full swing as well.
