Headed out for a little fishing this morning before Mother's day BBQ. Started the day at 6:10am with cold light rain and got better as morning went on. Trolled my favorite light Kokanee set up with a sling blade and small double hook pink/blue hoochie with last hook tipped with a pink maggot and well as my secret weapon.

Could keep the trout off must have caught and released 20 fish average size 9-11". Kokanee are in this lake and caught them before but its been awhile. Finally on my last pass of my favorite spot i get..... a 7" kokanee! That's it one kokanee! Wow this lake has changed a lot. Oh well had a blast and that's what it all about.
