Took the kayak out on Tuesday. I was surprised at how many fishermen were out, didn't see a whole lot of action other than one boat that found a sweet spot they stayed on for awhile. I won't spill their secrets on here. I had a ton of bites, but figure they were mostly bluegill. I caught one of the lil' bastards finally. Then I did find some trout action, but no size to them. Got one brookie in the kayak. Lost another. I threw spinners/spoons/flies, everything but soaking my arse in powerbait, oh well.

On the bright side, the college girls were out in force. Paddleboards never looked so good!

That's not a Brookie my friend, and I wish I could have seen the bikini clad paddle board armada!

What is it then, a tiger? I've only ever caught small brookies out of a stream before, so assumed this was a larger one.

Looks like a juvenile Tiger Trout in the photo. Fish is one of the few lakes around that get regularly stocked with them. Its a real bummer to here that there are already bluegill(or some other spiny ray fish) in that lake since that is why wdfw poisoned it a year and a half ago. Maybe its time to let it turn into a bass lake instead.
