I went fishing at Rimrock again Sunday and had a pretty good day except for the wind. The water was high but I still managed to catch several trout and a few bulls. Spring is the only time I can ever catch any fish at Rimrock though I guess Kokanee bite through the summer.

Anyway, I released all the fish except for this one mutant one. I thought he was a cutthroat/rainbow hybrid because of his short snout and he seemed to have some pink on his sides. Looking closer later though his jaws were curving like a spawning salmon. My girlfriend thinks he is just mutated, I'm not sure what his problem was bu I didn't want it to spread so I kept him.

I had a great day and saw wildlife too including an Eagle, chipmunk and a bunch of lizards.

Yea, that's an odd looking fish. Definitely some type of deformity with the nose. Strange coloring as well.

He's definitely got some westslope in him. He does look like a cutt-bow.
