Beautiful morning with near ZERO wind and the fish were biting too. A limit of 11"-13" rainbows; nothing huge, but the planters are getting chunky. The green flake is beginning to show in about a 1-2 FT. perimeter around the bank. I heavily suggest cleaning the fish ASAP after catching them and then putting them on ice; if you plan on having anything close to eatable upon your arrival home. On the negative side, my usual litter P/U yeilded close to two plastic grocery bags of trash with LOTS of wads of line...Very discouraging; especially when I had picked up one spot less than one week ago...Line, chip bags, plastic bottles...All stuff the Trash Pigs were TOO LAZY to haul back out.

Thank you for your cleanup effort,sometimes it seems hopeless.I live in port angeles and my favorite place in the world is on the south fork of the solduc river.fast water empties into a deep pool,the far side is clay banked with huge boulder overhang surrounded by large growth fir and cedar giving a view that rivals heaven.behind me is a rocky shore covered with beer cans,snack wrappers,and broken down fishing gear.I hike the 1 1/2 miles to the car with 2 large garbage bags full of trash.My health hasn't allowed me to make the hike in the last 4 years,,I feel hurt inside when I think about how it looks now. ... Keep up the good work and I hope you do well with your fishing.

Thank you for the kind remarks, sunfighter; no matter where I fish, I P/U the litter. Unfortunately, I recall the Puget Sound steelhead streams, in some areas, being like the SF of the Solduc. West Medical Lake is a very pretty lake with a lot of waterfowl, eagles and osprey. Not to sound too corny, but I see the Litter Pigs as defiling God's / Nature's Temple. Who wants to sit in garbage pile to fish?

Not only that, but they are the reason for the lost access to the North side of the lake. It's really ridiculous.
