The pictures with this report cover fishing from April 29 to May 2. We have trolled Colyar Ledge early in the morning (weather permitting), then moved downlake to hit the face of Manson Bay. The Colyar fish have bee from 180 to 220 feet deep. The Manson Bay fish have been anywhere from 120 to 280. Jeff Drifts baited with Pikeminnow being pulled at 1mph within 5 feet of the bottom continues to generate the bites. Kokanee have been shallower along Mill Bay and up at Colyar. Our fish have been in the 30's over a much deeper bottom. Cutthroat are thick in the Mill Bay area and can be caught on bait, spinners or flies.
Most of the Mack's have been 3 to 5 pounds. The Kokanee have been 11 and 15 inches. Most of the Cutts have been 11 or 12 inches.
It was Chamber of Commerce weather today as well as across the last weekend for the Chelan / Northwestfishingreports.com get together at the State Park. Let me know if those Work Sharps ... well, work.
