As always waited to the week after opening day to drop the boat in the water. Had my usual game plan for blue collar fly fishing with a green wooley bugger rigged behind a smiley blade. Well the trout were not that impressed with it, had a few strikes by not as hot as the past. My buddy Ted was in the front seat and pulling them in with his gang troll and a red dick night. Switched to a red wedding ring and boy howdy was the rainbows impressed. Back at the launch after 3 1/2 hours with both fish chains limited out.
