glad to hear i wasn't the only one struggling today. I got there early, hit one @ 9:30ish, and that was it for the day. called it quits @ noon after only one more takedown (two total all day), and not marking much of anything in any of the usual spots.

I was there too, was tough fishing. 630-1100. ended up with 5 (beginners luck?), but really had to work at.it... not to mention 3 hours of driving... Just posted my report, then noticed the spoon man's (foryou) 5 star report, and a limit, but in the evening.... damn it. What were you guys fishing out of? I was solo in the little 15' cream and brown aluminum boat.

I think were gonna have to buy some spoons!

Hey guys, I have found when it is rainy or windy the kokes are biting on the surface or 10ft down on the wire. Pinks and orange are the hot colors. Shrimp, krill, or prawn scents seem to work best. Troll with the wind not against it. Keep your speed as close to 1.0-1.2 as possible. Keep at it fellas!!! They are there, just very particular at what depths they will hit your offering at.

Also, I may add in that using darker colored Dodgers and lure work better with low light conditions! Purple was money for me.
