Got the chance to go out for a couple hours with the kids. After catching a few hatchery hot-dogs. We moved spots and the kid hooked into a 17 in bow and we had a double at one point but one shook off. Managed to catch a largie in the hunt for trout. Along with a good handful or crappie and sunfish. About 6 inches or so. Nothing overly huge. Good day overall. Also, I the attached picture. Is that a tiger trout?

always great to get the kids out nice pictures. To answer your question , that is not a tiger trout, they actually have marking on the sides similar to that of a tiger. Take care and good fishing.

Just a rainbow. The faint pattern displayed in the photo is a remnant marking from the juvenile stage of development. Shows you how fast the fish grow around here considering the fish in the photo is probably less than year old.

It doesn't have the vertical bands that rainbows do. Plus there aren't any natural bows in there. I've caught 1 tiger before out of Williams and it looks similar.

For sure a tiger I was out there today and got in to a few my self. a bit longer/thin fish gives it away don't look anything like the rainbows out there.
