Headed out to Lake Stevens for more Kokanee fun. Launched at 2pm and finished at 5:15pm. God blessed with another limit of 10 Kokes and 1 rainbow trout which I released. Trolled modified Elgin Fishing God's Tooth spoons with Dick Nite dodgers and shoepeg corn dipped in super dipping herring sauce on 2 rods. Used Pink top and 50/50 Gold spoons. Took me a bit to figure out the depth of the fish which turned out to be about 22'-25'. I did make another modified version of the spoon which attaches a snap clip to the split ring and for balance, leaving the back split ring on also. This new version worked very well also and the action closely resembles the regular God's Tooth spoon. Largest fish measured 14 1/4". Wishing all tight lines!

There it is!! You are killing it! Quick question for ya. What's the leader length for the spoon? Are you running a short one to add more action? Or does the spoon have its own? Appreciate your reports!

Hi DJ,
I am running 16" leader from trailing hook to dodger. The spoon has its own wobble action and the dodger just makes spoon go side to side. Hope this helps!
