Tried our luck on Moses Lake since I saw about 16 boats on the water the day before. We fished the north end out of McConnely park. We didn't get any walleye but we did catch one lonely large mouth bass that hit my slow death hook trolling with a side planer in about 10' of water. Must be a little early still with spawning just ending or about to. Other fisherman I spoke with didn't catch any walleye but they did catch a bass or two.

Next weekend we head to Williams Lake for the opener.
