well, headed out with a buddy from school for the "after school and soccer bite". got to the lake at about 5:45 and fished from the launch. i threw the best powerbait and pro cure setup i had at them for the first hour and a half or so, and ended up with 2 fish. lots of boats were coming in saying they caught between 0 and 4 fish after a day on the water. then, a boat came in saying they caught 15 fish in the day. apparently, the secret was garlic infused power eggs. he gave me 3 eggs in 2 colors. i had never seen these before, they were half color, and half clear with sparkles. but man they did the job.

we ended the day with 8 fish. delicious!

i heard that one power egg did just as well as two, so i tried it out. it seems to get the 7 or 8 inch fish. 2 eggs kept us around the 11-12 inch mark. but hey, we don't discriminate!
