Fished lake Tye, on the water at 7:00am and finished at 11:00am. Started off trolling Elgin Fishing God's Tooth Orange Top on slow action. No activity. Switched to Orange Top fast action. God blessed with 16 fish. Bite slowed and switched to Green Top on fast action, caught another 6 fish. Action slowed again so switched to Pink top fast action and caught a couple more. Switched to Frog on slow action and caught 4 more fish. Lastly switched to Perch fast action and caught 2 more. I trolled and would also stop and begin cast and retrieve. Both methods produced about 15 fish each. Total fish caught was 30. Headed back to shore and some of the bank anglers wanted to know what I was using. Showed them and they were curious as to casting ability. Put a Frog on with slow action and casted out. On second cast caught another fish so total for the day was 31. Caught 1 holdover which I measured at 17" (photo of fish in the net) and rest were stockers ranging from 8" to 12". All fish safely released to fight again. Bank anglers seemed to be struggling today but did see a few caught. Wishing all tight lines!
