Had such an enjoyable time last week that I thought I would head to Lost lake again. Started fishing at 1:45pm and finished at 5:30pm. Started out trolling with a 50/50 Gold on slow action. Caught a few but wanted better results, switched to Frog and caught a couple more, tried 50/50 Blue and no hits. Decided to try Brown Trout on fast action (Hook on wide end of spoon). Caught 6 more fish then no more action so switched to Pink fast action and caught a few more. Lastly, tried 50/50 Gold on fast action and that was the ticket. God blessed with a total of 33 fish for the day and all safely released to fight later. The photos show the spoon set at fast action. All fish were stockers up to 12" and no holdovers caught. Most of the fish were caught trolling. Wishing all tight lines!

Note: For those who don't recognize the spoons, they are the Elgin Fishing God's Tooth.

Thanks for the report! I picked some of those up a couple weeks ago! Do you use any kind of flasher or dodger?

Hi Salmonbarry,
I do not use a flasher or dodger when fishing for trout in the lakes. My set up is main line, swivel, 4' of 4lb fluorocarbon leader, snap clip attached to the split ring of the God's Tooth. Hope this helps! I look forward to your future report on how the spoons worked for you:)
