Went from about 3 till 8pm, first time on that lake, Eben though it is only 20 min from my house. Water was about 50 degrees. Trolled a little bit with tandem flies going for stocker rainbows, but spent 80% of the time trying for crappie. Kept the boat anywhere from 6-10ft most of the time, casting either worm and bobber or jig and bobber. Usually had about 3-5 ft of leader under bobber, casting in to open water and also among weeds and structure Also tried worm just with weight and no bobber incase there was a bullhead that was interested. Pulled in missing half a worm a few times doing that, but otherwise no bites at all. Anyone fished this lake with success and have any pointers? Never caught crappie before on this side of the mountains, or even been on this lake, and would love suggestions. Plan on fishing each day this week, as I wait for my favorite lakes to get stocked and for the local kokanee lakes to heat up

Havnt fished this lake in a while but used to fish it a lot. The south end of the lake put your boat into the pads and tie on a 5-7 inch trout colored swim bait weedless this summer and cast through the pads. Have caught a lot of 4,5 and 6lb bass here. Tight Lines, MM
