Got out on Lake Washington with my lady on both Friday and Saturday. Was a gorgeous out both days.

Friday: Fishing at 38 feet down on the downrigger, 75 feet back from the clip. Fishing a Dick Nite dodger followed by a chartreuse and pink Dick Nite spoon on one side; a Dick Nite dodger followed by a pink and orange hoochie rig tipped with fire corn on the other. One fish on each set up, took one cutthroat home that was about 17". Fished about 3.5 hours.

Saturday: Fishing at 48 feet down on the downrigger, 75 feet back from the clip. Same gear. Landed two cutthroat on the Dick Nite spoon, no hits on the hoochie. Brought both fish home, both measured in the 18" range. Very thin fish, they haven't started bulking up yet. Fished for about 4 hours.

Fishing just north of the Kirkland Marina to Yarrow Point and back both days. Was in a red Duckworth with a grey top. If you see us out there give a shout and wave!

I saw ya out there. I was in the Tracker Super Guide V14 bass boat. Thanks for the post. What speed were you trolling at when you got on fish?

Anyone having luck with Small mouth Bass near the Sand Point?

We were trolling between 1.4 and 1.8 mph on the GPS. That is the range I have had the most luck on Lake Washington fishing for cutthroats and kokanee.
