I am trying to catch the big one this year. So I am getting skunked on bass a lot. So far I have not put bronze or green in the boat. I went to bitter and threw swimbaits, jigs, sqaurebills and chatterbaits. Nothing. The trout were biting. I put 7 in the boat on an orange Rapala (C&R'd all of them). I maybe did 5 loops around the lake to do this. It seems things are waking up later this year. By this time last year I was nailing both species in my usual haunts.
